Album Review: Lady Lynch - Self-titled (Self-released)

I wasn't sure what to expect when I received this self-titled CD by Austrian Lady Lynch... It started as lo-fi indie-pop with adorable female vocals from their lead-singer on "I'm Glad My Voice Comes Back",
but then a little into the song it gets a little grittier and garage-like. "Okay fine, this is how it's gonna go then", I thought, but no. Sure, indie-pop may fill up a lot of the sound of Lady Lynch, but overall I'd call it electronic indie-pop (check out "Nighthawks") with
a punk-rock edge (check out "Oh, you know")...

So, yeah, I must say that I like this Austrian band. You can disagree of course, but if you're into electronic indie-pop, I seriously doubt that you will. This CD features 7 tracks and you can hear four of them
on their myspace page. What are you waiting for?
